Kiss Me Kate Production

Cabin Fever Theatre performs Kiss Me, Kate on March 18, 19 and 20, 2011 at the Reach Performing Arts Center.

Directed by Morgan Witham, with Nelson Monteith as musical director.

A musical version of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew, the play-within-a-play-features four main characters, Fred, Lilli, Lois and Bill, who play the parts of Petruchio, Katharine, Bianca and Lucentio. Gambling, thugs, gangsters and complicated love interests are woven throughout the musical comedy. Musical numbers include “Another Op’nin’ Another Show”, “Why Can’t You Behave”, “Wunderbar”, “So In Love”, “Kiss Me Kate”, “Too Darn Hot” and “Brush Up Your Shakespeare”.
